Hotel Silken Puerta América Madrid 2005

Our first collaboration with Ron Arad in special projects was the production of a number of rugs for the floor which he designed in the Hotel Silken Puerta América in Madrid. In line with the bulbous, rounded forms that define the architect’s style, we produced 32 circular rugs. The design, by Arad himself, was exclusive for this project and the rugs were manufactured in 100% wool using the hand-tufted technique.
We also provided 88 rugs from our Stone-wool collection to decorate the floor designed by Javier Mariscal.
